The origins of Occhioni.
Hello,
.. I’m Lucia Occhioni, a designer and at the same time a new mother … who during the thousands of sleepless nights cradling my children, thought up and created functional and innovative products that filled the void I found when buying items for babies.
I’m proposing really practical, smart, sought after, quality products, combined with a surreal fairy atmosphere and irony that reflects my personality and that is as close as possible to the imagination of small children.
The logo that identifies the brand is an illustrated representation of my surname, (occhioni meaning ‘eyes’ in Italian) a quirky sketch that I have always used to sign my creations and drawings.
One night … there was surely a full moon! … I tried to imagine a fairytale and the Eyes became the animated protagonists of the brand ………
The company has only been able to become concrete and real thanks to the support and collaboration of my family and my special friend Valentina.
INSPIRATION
The mood comes from adult clothing, a mix of streetwear and sportswear which enables it to be dynamic, innovative and comfortable. The jumpsuit was the starting reference point from which the collection, in all its different variations developed.
This starting point together with good taste, quality, irony and functionality make the garments really sought after and unique.

STYLE DETAILS
Each product is focused on the well-being of your baby.
The technical decisions we made were first and foremost for comfort and practicality and have become our strength, details that distinguish and identify us.
THE SEAMS
The seams are strategically positioned on the outside of the garment to avoid irritating even the most delicate skin, making for an elegant and modern style.
THE LABELS
To avoid irritation, labels are placed at points that do not come into contact with the baby and for those purposes we have also chosen a ‘tear-off’ fabric whilst the brand logo always remains outside as a decorative feature.

MADE IN ITALY
Each garment and accessory is exclusively made in Italy; the raw materials and the packaging come from studious research and real attention to detail and style.
PACKAGING
We have chosen to use materials that protect the environment.
Our boxes are made of 100% recycled cardboard, as well as our our tags, which are made of recycled paper. Moreover, to wrap our garments, we use Kraft Avana MG paper, that is made of 100% plant fibers.
ORGANIC FIBRES
Fabrics are chosen through a scrupulous selection of producers that can certify their provenance and quality. We use organic cotton and the yarn for the waterproof fabric is obtained from recycled plastic.
The packaging and tag are made from recycled paper, because we want to give your child a better world.
QUALITY
You can was and rewash your garments, without spoiling their softness.The metallic accessories are Nikel-free and all conform to anti-allergic regulations.
